Change values by rotating the crown. Accept and move to the next values by pressing the crown once. USING BACKLIGHT & BUTTON LOCK Turn on the backlight by keeping the middle button pressed. Activate and deactivate the button lock by pressing the crown and the middle button simultaneously. USING SAILING TIMER & RACE TIMER Switch between TIME and SAILING TIMER by pressing the middle button. Activate the SAILING TIMER by pressing the crown once. It will start counting downwards from the present time and give a signal for each critical moment. Synchronize to the next full minute by pressing the lower button. When reaching zero, the SAILING TIMER turns into a RACE TIMER and starts to count upwards. Stop the timers by pressing the crown once and reset by keeping the lower button pressed. BROWSING AIR PRESSURE GRAPH Browse the recorded absolute air pressure graph readings by rotating the crown downwards. Exit by pressing the middle or lower button. USING THE COMPASS Activate the COMPASS with the lower button. North is indicated in the outer rim segment and current heading is shown in numbers. CALIBRATING THE COMPASS Start the compass calibration by holding the lower button pressed when the compass is activated. First, keep the device level and with a steady pace rotate it until the outer segments are filled. “LEVEL” blinks on the display if the device is not level or stable. When successful, the device gives a signal and automatically starts the tilt calibration. Keep the device tilted 90˚ until the device sounds and informs if the calibration is successful (”OK”) or not (”FAILED”). |
