HYDROSTATIC HEAD:
A measurement of waterproofing, to measure the hydrostatic head of a fabric a column of water is pressed against it. The height of the column is increased until the water penetrates the fabric. (Higher is better)
MVTR:
Moisture Vapour Transfer Rate breathability is usually indicated by how many grams of moisture can pass through a square meter of fabric in a 24 hour period (Higher is better)
