Jack Wolfskin Mens Atmosphere Softshell Jacket
A highly breathable outdoor clothing with active stretch soft shell fabric designed for dynamic mountain sports use.
In 90% of all weather conditions, SOFTSHELLS are a more sensible and more breathable alternative to weatherproof jackets
The distinctive product characteristics of all SOFTSHELL variants are
- top class breathability providing high wear comfort
- body hugging fit, greater freedom of movement and, depending on the material, good to excellent stretch comfort.
- highly wind repellent or completely wind proof
- water repellent finish
- in extreme conditions such as heavy or persistant rain or snow or in very low temperatures, the SOFTSHELL can be teamed with a classic weather protective shell jacket or 'HARDSHELL'
The main part of the jacket consists of the highly breathable, active stretch hybrid fabric, FLEX SHIELD LITE DWR (Durably Water Repellent).
The cut of the jacket and its dual stretch properties are ideal for mountain sports, rock climbing or mountain biking.
The features are kept to the minimum: two raised, easy-access chest pockets. When rolled and packed the jacket takes up roughly the same amount of space in your rucksack as a standard 0.75 litre bottle. With its offset front zip, this soft shell is ideal for wear in a technical layering system.
FLEX SHIELD LITE DWR
The lighter version of the outdoor Flex Shield DWR consists of 100% polyester clothing.
This slightly cross-elastic, double faced fabric has a smooth, dense weave and a high wind resistant outer surface with a water- repellant finishl. The inner surface of the fabric is structured to provide a degree of insulation.
