DESCRIPTION

The Edge 305CAD Garmin's GPS-enabled personal trainer and cycle computer with cadence sensor & optional heart rate. For advanced cyclists, the Edge 305 comes packaged with a wireless speed/pedaling cadence sensor and/or optional heart rate monitor to provide valuable feedback. In addition, the Edge 305 incorporates a barometric altimeter for extremely accurate elevation and vertical profile data. The Edge 305 with cadence includes a self-calibrating, wireless speed/cadence sensor so you can monitor your pedalling cadence as you ride. Like the heart rate monitor, the speed/cadence sensor uses the same robust wireless technology to measure and report your pedalling strokes per minute.

The 305 includes a new, highly sensitive GPS receiver to satisfy the trainers demand for extremely reliable and accurate data. It performs in the most challenging of conditions, whether used next to big city buildings or in valleys under heavy tree cover. The Edge’s are the first Garmin devices to incorporate the new generation SiRFstarIII TM Architecture, providing extremely high performance sensitivity, and very fast, time to first fix, which is manufactured by SiRF Technology Holdings Inc. The SiRF technology is amazing! its a case of turn on and BAM your unit will have lock and your ready to go!

The Edge’s designs are sleek and with durable case frames, incorporating large, 4-level greyscale, easy to read displays with backlighting. Users may customise the display to show up to 8 different data fields.
